Mr. Snuggles and the Fireflies
Lily loved playing with her toys all day long. She had a fluffy teddy bear named Mr. Snuggles, a bouncy ball that made funny noises, and a colorful truck that zoomed around the room. But when the sun went down and it was time for bed, Lily felt a little scared.
"Mommy, I don't want to sleep alone," she whispered, snuggling into her mother's arms.
Mommy smiled and said, "Don't worry, Lily. We'll make bedtime fun!"
She took Lily's hand and they walked to her room. Mommy turned on a little nightlight that made the room glow like fireflies. Then, she gave Lily a big hug and a kiss.
"Mr. Snuggles is here to keep you company," Mommy said, placing the teddy bear next to Lily. "He'll protect you from all the monsters under the bed."
Lily giggled and snuggled Mr. Snuggles close. Mommy sang her a lullaby about a little bunny who went to sleep under the stars. Lily's eyes started to get sleepy.
"I love you, Lily," Mommy whispered.
"I love you too, Mommy," Lily mumbled, her eyes closing.
Mommy kissed her forehead and tiptoed out of the room. Lily drifted off to sleep, feeling safe and loved, with Mr. Snuggles by her side.
