Javi and Hugo were best friends, inseparable like two peas in a pod. They spent their days playing in the garden, running through the park, and building sandcastles on the beach. But their favorite place to play was the Pobo's house, a magical place filled with secrets and adventures.
The Pobo was a kind old man who lived in a large, ancient house with a garden full of colorful flowers and a patio with a sparkling blue pool. He always greeted them with a smile and let them play in his house, as long as they didn't make too much noise.
One sunny day, Javi and Hugo were playing in the Pobo's garden. Javi was chasing a blue butterfly, while Hugo was searching for shiny stones for his collection. Suddenly, Hugo stopped short, his eyes wide with surprise.
"Javi, look!" he exclaimed, pointing to a group of bushes next to the pool. "There's something hidden there."
Javi approached curiously and peered into the bushes. There, among the green leaves and yellow flowers, was an old wooden chest with a rusty iron lock.
"What could it be?" Javi asked, his voice filled with excitement.
"Treasure!" Hugo exclaimed, his eyes shining. "It must be the Pobo's treasure."
Javi and Hugo looked at each other with a knowing smile. They had to open the chest and discover what treasure the Pobo had hidden.
"But how do we open it?" Javi asked, looking at the rusty lock.
Hugo thought for a moment and then said, "We need a magic key."
Javi and Hugo searched the entire garden for a magic key. They looked among the flowers, under the trees, and even in the pool, but they couldn't find anything.
"There's no magic key," Javi said, a little sadly.
"Don't worry, Javi," Hugo said, with a mischievous grin. "I know how to open the chest."
Hugo pulled a small stone from his pocket that he had found earlier. The stone was smooth and round, with a special glow.
"This stone is magic," Hugo said. "If we rub it on the lock, it will open."
Javi and Hugo rubbed the stone on the lock of the chest, with all their might. Suddenly, the lock clicked and the chest swung open.
Inside the chest, they found a trove of wonderful things: shiny gold coins, colorful gemstones, and an old map with drawings of ships and treasures.
Javi and Hugo shouted with joy. They had found the Pobo's treasure!
"Now we're rich!" Javi exclaimed, with a grin from ear to ear.
"Yes, but the most important thing is that we're friends," Hugo said, hugging Javi.
Javi and Hugo spent the afternoon playing with the Pobo's treasure. They wore the gold coins as necklaces, adorned themselves with the gemstones, and imagined sailing on a pirate ship with the old map.
At the end of the day, the Pobo came out to the garden and saw Javi and Hugo playing with the treasure.
"What's that?" the Pobo asked, with a smile.
"It's your treasure, Pobo," Javi said, proudly. "We found it hidden in the bushes."
The Pobo laughed with joy. "That's not my treasure," he said. "That's the treasure of friendship."
Javi and Hugo looked at each other with a smile. The Pobo was right. The real treasure wasn't the gold coins or the gemstones, but the friendship they shared.
From that day on, Javi and Hugo continued to play at the Pobo's house, seeking new adventures and discovering new treasures, always together, like two peas in a pod. And the Pobo, with his kind smile, always welcomed them with open arms, knowing that the true treasure was the friendship they shared.
