The Tower of Tiny Dreams

Opening image for the story
Mia had a big dream. She wanted to build the tallest tower in the whole world! She grabbed her colorful blocks and started stacking them high. "One, two, three, four..." she counted, her eyes sparkling with excitement. But just as she placed the fifth block, *CRASH!* The tower tumbled down, blocks scattering everywhere. Mia's face fell. "Oh no!" she cried, her bottom lip trembling. "My tower is broken!" Her mommy came over and gave her a hug. "It's okay, Mia," she said, "Sometimes towers fall down. That's just part of building." Mia sniffled. "But I want a tall tower!" Mommy smiled. "Let's try again. This time, we'll build it slowly and carefully." They started again, placing each block with extra care. Mia even used her tiny finger to make sure each block was perfectly balanced. "One, two, three..." Mia counted, her voice filled with hope. This time, the tower grew taller and taller. Suddenly, a playful puppy named Sparky came bounding over, bumping into the tower with his tail. *CRASH!* Down it went again! Mia gasped, but this time, she didn't cry. She just giggled. "Silly Sparky!" she said, picking up the blocks. Mommy laughed too. "See, Mia? Even when things fall down, it's okay. We can always try again!" And so they did. They built and rebuilt, laughing and learning along the way. Mia's tower might not have been the tallest in the world, but it was the tallest tower of all, built with love, laughter, and a whole lot of patience.
