A New Friend in the Jungle

Dino the dinosaur was very excited! He had a new friend, a little girl named Lily. Lily was visiting Dino's home in the big, green jungle. "Lily, come meet my friends!" Dino called, his tail wagging happily. Lily giggled. "Friends? What kind of friends?" Dino led her to a clearing where his friends were playing. There was a giant, friendly T-Rex named Rex, who was trying to balance a giant leaf on his nose. A tiny, blue Triceratops named Tricey was playing hide-and-seek behind a giant fern. And a long-necked Brachiosaurus named Bronto was munching on leaves from the tallest tree. "This is Rex," Dino said, pointing to the T-Rex. "He's a little clumsy, but he's the best at playing hide-and-seek!" Lily giggled again. "He looks like he'd be good at hiding!" Next, Dino introduced Tricey. "She's the smallest, but she's the fastest runner!" Tricey peeked out from behind the fern, her tiny horns wiggling. "Hi, Lily!" she squeaked. Finally, Dino introduced Bronto. "He's the tallest, but he's also the gentlest. He loves to give hugs!" Bronto lowered his head and gave Lily a gentle nuzzle. Lily laughed and hugged Bronto's long neck. "Wow, Dino," Lily said, "you have the best friends ever!" Dino smiled. "I know! And now, you're one of them too!"
