Dino's Jungle Friends

Dino the dinosaur was so excited! He had a new friend, a little girl named Lily. Lily was visiting Dino's home in the big, green jungle. "Lily, come meet my friends!" Dino called, his tail wagging happily. Lily giggled. "Friends? But you're a dinosaur!" "Dinosaurs can have friends too!" Dino said, leading her to a clearing. There, munching on leaves, were three other dinosaurs. One was a tall, skinny Brachiosaurus named Barney, who was munching on leaves so high up he almost touched the clouds. Another was a spiky Stegosaurus named Spike, who was scratching his back on a tree. And the last one was a tiny, fluffy Triceratops named Trixie, who was playing hide-and-seek behind a giant fern. "Hi, Lily!" Barney boomed, his long neck stretching down to greet her. "Hello!" Lily waved, her eyes wide with wonder. Spike, with a loud "THUMP," stomped over to Lily and gave her a gentle nudge with his head. Trixie, giggling, popped out from behind the fern. "Boo!" she said, making Lily squeal with laughter. "See?" Dino said, beaming. "My friends are the best!" Lily smiled. "They are!" she said, already making plans to come back and play with Dino and his amazing dinosaur friends.
