Dino's New Friends

Dino the dinosaur was very excited. He had a big surprise for his new friend, Lily! Lily was a little girl with bright, curious eyes and a giggle that sounded like wind chimes. "Lily, come see!" Dino called, his tail swishing back and forth. Lily skipped over, her tiny hand reaching out to touch Dino's bumpy green skin. "What is it, Dino?" she asked, her eyes wide. "I have friends!" Dino boomed, his voice like a rumble of thunder. "They're just as silly as me!" He stomped his feet and called out, "Rex! Stega! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" From behind a giant rock, a tiny dinosaur with bright red spots popped out. "Hi, Lily!" he chirped. "I'm Rex, the fastest runner in the whole jungle!" Then, a giant dinosaur with plates on its back lumbered out. "Hello, little one," she said in a deep voice. "I'm Stega, and I love to munch on leaves!" Lily giggled. "You're all so funny!" she exclaimed. "Can we play hide and seek?" Dino, Rex, and Stega all roared with laughter. "Of course!" Dino said. "We love to play!" Lily ran behind a tree, giggling as Dino, Rex, and Stega searched for her. They played all afternoon, laughing and running and having the best time ever. As the sun began to set, Lily hugged Dino goodbye. "Thank you for introducing me to your friends," she said. "I had so much fun!" Dino smiled. "You're welcome, Lily! Come back tomorrow, and we'll play again!"
