Luna's Nightly Quest
Luna, a tiny moonbeam, zipped through the night sky. She was a curious little beam, always wanting to know things. Tonight, she was on a mission. "Why do the stars sleep so peacefully?" she wondered. "They twinkle all day, but at night, they just… sleep!"
She zipped past a big, bright star named Stella. "Stella, Stella, why do you sleep so soundly?" Luna asked.
Stella yawned. "Oh, Luna, it's simple. I sleep because I'm tired from shining all day. The night is my time to rest."
Luna zipped on, still curious. She found a tiny star named Twinkle. "Twinkle, Twinkle, why do you sleep so peacefully?"
Twinkle giggled. "I sleep because I'm dreaming of all the fun I'll have shining tomorrow!"
Luna zipped past more stars, asking the same question. Some said they slept because they were tired, others said they dreamt of fun, and some even said they slept because they were listening to the quiet whispers of the night.
Finally, Luna reached the biggest star of all, the North Star. "North Star, North Star, why do you sleep so peacefully?"
The North Star smiled. "Luna, my dear, the stars sleep because they are happy. They are happy to be part of the night sky, to shine their light, and to bring joy to the world."
Luna understood. The stars slept because they were happy and content. She zipped back to the moon, feeling happy herself. She had learned a valuable lesson: happiness brings peace, and peace brings sleep. And so, Luna, the moonbeam, drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the happy stars and the peaceful night sky.
