The Caterpillar Who Didn't Want to Fly
Chester the caterpillar loved munching on juicy leaves. He wiggled and wriggled all day long, exploring the garden. "I wish I could stay a caterpillar forever!" he sighed one sunny morning. "Being a caterpillar is the best!"
Just then, a beautiful butterfly landed on a nearby flower. "Why do you wish that, little one?" she asked, her wings shimmering in the sunlight.
"Because I love being a caterpillar," Chester explained. "I love munching leaves and crawling around."
The butterfly smiled. "But imagine, little Chester, how much more you could see and explore if you had wings!"
Chester looked at the butterfly's wings, so colorful and strong. "But I don't want to change," he said, feeling a little scared.
"Change is good," the butterfly said gently. "It means new adventures and new things to discover. You'll be able to fly high above the trees and see the world from a whole new perspective."
Chester thought about it. He imagined himself soaring through the air, feeling the wind on his wings. It sounded exciting!
"Maybe you're right," he said, a little smile forming on his face. "Maybe change isn't so bad after all."
The butterfly winked. "It's the best part of life, little Chester. It's time for you to grow your wings and fly!"
Chester felt a little nervous, but also excited. He knew that change was coming, and he was ready to embrace it. He was ready to become a beautiful butterfly, just like his wise friend.
