The Colors of My Heart

Razzle the rainbow dragon woke up one morning feeling glum. His scales, usually a vibrant display of colors, were now a dull gray! "Where are my colors?" he cried, his voice filled with despair. A little bunny hopped by, her nose twitching. "Did you lose them?" she asked, tilting her head. Razzle shook his head, his sadness deepening. A wise old owl perched on a nearby branch, hooted softly, "Look inside yourself, Razzle." Razzle closed his eyes and thought about all the colors he loved: the sunshine yellow, the sky blue, the grass green. He pictured the vibrant hues of the flowers in the meadow and the shimmering colors of the river. He opened his eyes, and... wow! His scales were shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow! They were brighter than ever before. He had found his colors inside his heart! Razzle smiled, his heart overflowing with joy. He spread his wings and soared into the sky, happy to be colorful again.
