The Moonbeams' Mischief

Share
Opening image for the story
Once upon a time, the moonbeams were very mischievous. They loved to play tricks on the sleepy animals! They would tickle the noses of sleeping bunnies, making them twitch their whiskers. They would bounce on the backs of snoring owls, making them hoot in surprise. One night, the moonbeams went too far. They tickled a little firefly so hard, it flew away and got lost! The moonbeams felt very sad. They realized that their tricks weren't funny, they were hurtful. They learned that kindness is much more important than mischief. From that night on, the moonbeams only played gentle games. They would dance with the fireflies and sing lullabies to the sleeping animals. And everyone in the forest lived happily ever after.
